Our Harrison

Meet Harrison, 2, he has a rare condition called septo-optic dysplasia, he is peg fed due to severe reflux and an unsafe swallow, he is also registered blind, has epilepsy and a hearing impairment. He's had a tough little life but we finally feel like we know Harrison and his complicated ways well, and the hospital admissions have reduced dramatically. Emily’s Star has helped us right from the beginning with one of their wonderful neonatal boxes, they've also
Sent Harrison lovely Easter and Christmas presents, bought him an iPad and flexi arm to attach to his wheelchair, sensory toys during a hospital admission, along with helping us out at a very hard time whilst Harrison was unwell in Oxford they paid for my hotel. They provide us with an annual photo shoot. Not to forget all the wonderful days out they arrange, and the other parents we've met in similar situations through Emily’s Star , they've really had such a positive impact on Harrison's life.
